Dr. Songul Yapici, DMD, BDS

Dr. Yapici is a dedicated general dentist with a rich background in both clinical practice and academic track. Her goal is to provide her patients with the highest standard of care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She believes that a healthy smile not only improves your confidence but also plays a key role in your overall well-being.

She earned her first dental degree from Gazi University School of Dentistry in Turkey, where she began her journey in the dental field. Shortly after, she worked as a general dentist at a medical school, a leading institution where she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and medical professionals for several years, delivering comprehensive care to her patients.

Her passion for education and mentoring led Dr. Yapici to a faculty position where she taught dental assistants and dental lab technicians. In the meantime, she also pursued a PhD in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, contributing to the field through several publications.

In pursuit of broader opportunities, Dr. Yapici moved to the United States, where she earned a second dental degree, a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. With extensive experience working as an associate in various dental office settings, Dr. Yapici ultimately decided to open her own practice, where she continues to offer exceptional care and personalized service to her patients.

She is a proud member of Spear Education, American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association. She is a strong advocate of minimal adhesive procedures by focusing on preserving as much of the natural tooth structure as possible. She is dedicated to a conservative approach to cosmetic dentistry. She loves to combine Invisalign (teeth straightening), bleaching (whitening), and indirect veneer (composite bonding) to enhance both the aesthetics and function of patients’ teeth.

She helps patients achieve their desired smile with minimal intervention and lasting effects.

With over 10 years of experience in the dental field, she focuses on providing comprehensive care to ages of all from toddlers to seniors. Her philosophy is to listen to her patients, address their concerns, and work with them to achieve their dental goals.
